A BrightLocal survey of more than one thousand consumers shows just how vital these reviews are, especially for small businesses trying to bring in new customers and build trust with their local community. This 2017 survey found that 97 per cent of consumers searched for local businesses online, and 85 per cent of consumers have as much confidence in online reviews as they do in personal recommendations.
